Area of application
Computer-aided folding of large-format copies and plotter drawings, fully automatic. Ideal for small to medium quantities. The documents for folding must have a maximum width of 930mm but can be any length. Documents longer than 6,000mm are folded in sections of 22 primary folds. Cross folding is possible to a maximum document length of 1,500mm after re-feeding the sheet with the primary folds. Output formats in accordance with DIN or other standards.
Tilting transfer table
The transfer table of the estefold 2400 is very easy to move. In the vertical position it provides ample clearance to change the paper rolls on the plotter. The transfer table also has a standard option of manually feeding documents into the folder and has a collecting cloth for unfolded documents.
Comfortable online control
The serial interface means
that the estefold 2400 can be conveniently controlled from the PC using
optional plotter software. Simply select the folding program and output type
of the documents and they are directly transferred to the system by the
plotter. Automatic format recognition feeds the sheet into the folder in the
correct positional arrangement. Errors in the printing or folding process
are immediately reported and analysed.

Sure operation
Selecting the required folding formats is clear and easy. Programmes 1 to 8 are selected via the arrow keys. The corresponding package and filing edge is displayed for each programme number. Incorrect folding is not possible.

The eight folding programmes can be individually programmed within the following ranges:
- Package width: 180mm-420mm
- Filing edge: 0mm-30mm
- Cross fold: 200mm-420mm (adjustable)
The values entered are of course saved after the folding machine has been switched off and can be recalled at any time.
